Closed perimeter, wall profile, bottom, and relief patterns.
Vase editor
The editor creates an open-top vase with an editable perimeter, vertical wall profile, optional bottom, and surface relief. Select Rebuild vase after significant changes.
Quick start
1. Set the vase width, length, and height.
2. Edit the closed perimeter viewed from above.
3. Choose a wall profile or create a custom curve.
4. Set wall and bottom thickness.
5. Add a relief pattern if desired.
6. Rebuild, inspect, and export the model.
Perimeter and wall profile
Drag perimeter points to change the silhouette, double-click the line to add a point, and right-click a point to remove it. Keep the curve smooth and free of self-intersections. The wall profile controls expansion and narrowing over height; gradual changes print more reliably than sharp overhangs.
Thickness and patterns
Wall thickness must suit your nozzle and intended perimeter count. Watertight printing also depends on material, temperature, flow, and slicer settings. Pattern depth controls relief strength, repeats control how many elements wrap around the vase, and top offset leaves a smooth band near the opening. Start with a shallow pattern and check that it does not make concave areas too thin.
Before export, inspect the vase from above and below, confirm the opening remains clear, and verify the exported thicknesses and overhangs in your slicer.
