Box generator

The editor creates a printable box with an optional bottom, separate lid, mating rims, handle, and internal dividers. After changing parameters, select Rebuild box to update the preview.

Quick start

1. Set the box Width, Length, and Height.

2. Set the wall, bottom, and lid thicknesses.

3. Choose a wall profile and corner radius.

4. Enable a lid, handle, mating rims, or dividers when needed.

5. Rebuild the box, inspect all sides, and export the parts.

Wall profile

The profile controls how the box expands or narrows from bottom to top. Presets include straight, tapered, convex, flared, and tilted shapes. With a custom curve, drag points to change the offset, double-click to add a point, and right-click an inner point to remove it. Avoid self-intersections and abrupt transitions.

Lid and fit clearance

The mating rim keeps the lid aligned with the body. Rim width and height define the joint; Clearance adds free space between mating surfaces. Start near 0.2 mm and print a small test with the same material and slicer settings. Increase the clearance for a tight fit, or reduce it if the lid is loose.

Dividers and export

Internal dividers reduce usable volume, so check compartment dimensions after enabling them. Rotate the preview and inspect the bottom, top edge, lid, handle, and every divider. The body and lid are exported as separate parts. Verify wall counts, overhangs, and fit in your slicer before the final print.
